Tell us a bit about your education and career path

I had an engineering degree in electricity and renewable energy, and then I graduated from the ISC Paris Master of Science Supply Chain program in 2019. I currently work as an electricity research coordinator for the Acorus group.

Why did you choose the ISC Paris Master of Science International Business Manager Supply Chain program?

After I earned my electricity and renewable energy engineering degree, I wanted to also develop my management skills and more specifically to study purchasing. After doing a good deal of research, I applied to the ISC Paris Master of Science program because the specializations were targeted to the demands of the market. I’ve never regretted that decision.

I’m passionate about renewable energy. After doing several internships, I saw that in order to succeed in my chosen career, I needed more training in purchasing and supply chain management.

What did you gain from the ISC Paris Master of Science International Business Manager Supply Chain program?

I really enjoyed the basic management classes. Along with my specialization courses, those allowed me to develop the management and operational skills that a buyer or a supply chain manager needs.
The program helped me land a six-month electricity purchasing internship with Bouygues Construction. It was a really valuable experience. After that, I knew anything and everything about energy-efficient light bulbs!
I’m currently an electricity research coordinator for the Acorus group. I respond to calls for bids in the home renovation sector, and I’m growing our client portfolio for future projects.

Tell us a bit about your year at ISC Paris

My year at ISC Paris was a defining moment in my time as a student. I got to know the very dynamic team of professors, and I was part of a tight-knit group of friends. I have great memories of the year—most of all because my class was so diverse, in terms of their educational backgrounds, where they were from, and their past experiences. We all got along really well, and we formed close friendships. I’m still in touch with a lot of my classmates.

The professors taught me the theoretical and practical knowledge that I was seeking. The program was interactive, with site visits and business games. The ISC Paris’ emphasis on guided self-study was really valuable, because it helped me become more self-directed in my work. And speaking English in many of my classes helped me solidify my language skills moving forward into my career.
